The ICM Website Wins Prestigious Anthem Award

ICM
19 November 2024

We are thrilled to announce that the ICM website has won GOLD at this year’s Anthem Awards, for an “outstanding and effective example of work by a global organisation or program that raises awareness for a health cause.” This recognition is a big moment for midwives everywhere, helping to shine a global spotlight on the essential work you all do for women and newborns and the importance of advocating for them globally.

The Anthem Awards, an offshoot of the Webby Awards, or the Oscars of the Internet, honour purpose and mission-driven work, and celebrate organisations and individuals who are driving positive change across important causes like Health, Human Rights, and Sustainability. We are honoured to be included among such inspiring work.

Our new website was built with midwives in mind, making it a user-friendly and accessible resource for our global community. This award reflects the hard work and dedication that went into creating it. We’re proud that it serves its purpose as a valuable resource for midwives and also a tool to bring attention to their critical role.

A huge thank you to our website developers Friendly Design Co. for partnering with us on this project and to everyone helped us win this award. Your support is helping us bring midwives into the spotlight where they belong.

We’re committed to keeping the momentum going! Our goal is to continue improving our webpage and communications platforms to better serve midwives and provide the resources you need. If you haven’t yet, we invite you to explore our resources and news sections to learn more about midwives and midwifery.
