First 1000 registrations for ICM Congress

Over 1000 registrations were received for the ICM Prague Congress 2014 by the close of the Bonus Discount rate on Sunday night (30 June). The 1081 registrations exceeded all forecasts and beat early registrations figures for previous congresses in Durban 2011 and Glasgow 2008. The large number of student midwife registrations, at 226, has already passed the final numbers attending the 2011 and 2008 events.

The current breakdown of registrations is:

  • 805 Full registrations (forecast 750)
  • 226 Student Midwife registrations (forecast 100)
  •   50 Newly Qualified registrations (forecast 30)

With this new record, the world record of singing midwives is well underway! Further updates will follow in a timely manner.
