Join us for our International Women’s Day event! We are celebrating the one year anniversary of the PUSH campaign and building momentum towards IMNHC 2026 as we bring together midwives, advocates, and partners to PUSH back for rights, for women, and for midwives. The event will spotlight advocacy wins, share country success stories from ICM’s Regional Advocacy Incubator, and celebrate PUSH champions driving change.

Organised in collaboration with AlignMNH, this event contributes to ongoing global dialogue and collective action for maternal, newborn, and women’s health. Together, we’ll amplify the voices of midwives and civil society, highlighting the vital role of their partnership in advancing gender equality, strengthening health systems, and building resilient communities.

What to Expect

  • Country Success Stories: Hear from ICM Member Associations in Ethiopia, Uganda, and Kenya on how they are advocating for midwives to drive women-centred care in their countries.

  • PUSH Campaign Champions: Learn from organisations leading campaigns in their regions or countries to engage civil society and raise awareness about the role of midwives.

  • Global Dialogue & Collaboration: Connect with midwives and advocates, celebrate achievements, and join ongoing efforts to strengthen health systems, advance gender equality, and support resilient communities.
