Documentary about Hyperemesis Gravidarum launches to global audience

Sick – The Battle Against HG is the world’s first documentary about Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Sick explores the untold story of women experiencing Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) a terrible pregnancy sickness that effects 3 million women leading to thousands of abortions of wanted children and 9 months of distress. HG campaigner Charlotte Howden challenges the medical profession and explores women’s politics, secrets, loss, a dark history of pregnancy care and reveals new scientific breakthroughs in HG research. 10% of the sale or rent of this film will be donated to The Pregnancy Sickness Support charity to help fund their front-line call and online support services.
