ICM’s Seventy-third World Health Assembly Statement

The Seventy-third World Health Assembly opened on Monday, 18 May with an address from the WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesuswhich mentioned Year of The Nurse and the Midwife and the important role both professions play in overcoming the Coronavirus pandemic. 

As part of #WHA73, ICM prepared a statement addressing the impact of Covid-19 on midwives and the women and babies they care for.
