Reducing the rates of cesarean sections
The topic of the 3rd National 2nd International Midwifery Congress in Antalya, Turkey from 21-23 November, is the reduction of Cesarean section and upgrade of the women’s health indicators. The topics were enriched with the help of the courses and the current approaches in line with scientific content of the congress created by expert speakers.
Board Member for Southern Europe, Maria Papadopoulou and Board Member for Central Europe, Mary Higgins had presentations on the opening day in the afternoon. ICM President Frances Day-Stirk had a presentation on the morning of the opening day.
The congress was attended by over 200 midwives as well as almost 100 guests.
