Your Impact as Head of Programmes and Partnerships
As the Head of Programmes and Partnerships, you’ll manage high-impact programmes and cultivate strategic partnerships that amplify our global influence. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of midwifery care and driving our mission forward. In this impactful position, you’ll tackle a variety of responsibilities, including;
- Programme Leadership: Design, deliver, and review ICM’s programme strategy, aligning with our strategic priorities and ensuring our Member Associations are at the centre of our efforts.
- Partnerships and Funding: Identify and cultivate new partnerships and funding opportunities, building strong relationships with stakeholders and donors to ensure the sustainability of our initiatives.
- Senior Leadership: Contribute to the overall strategy and vision of ICM, representing the organisation at external events and preparing reports for the ICM Board.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage a cohesive Programmes & Partnerships Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing large, complex programmes and partnerships within a global NGO environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- A master’s degree and substantial experience in a relevant field.
- Extensive track record of evidence-based programming, complex programme management, operational planning, and resource mobilisation.
- Significant leadership experience, with the ability to influence stakeholders and inspire teams.
- Considerable experience in strategic planning and budget management, and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Fluency in English (ICM’s working language); proficiency in French or Spanish is an asset.
- Candidates must be based in the Netherlands and eligible to work.
