Your Impact as Digital Communications and Content Coordinator
As our Digital Communications and Content Coordinator, you will drive our digital engagement strategy and enhance our annual reporting. You’ll develop compelling social media content, manage newsletters, and oversee the website of the PUSH Campaign— a demand-driving advocacy campaign promoting woman-centred-care (WCC) to revolutionise health, with midwives as key to the solution. Additionally, you’ll report on ICM’s activities and produce our annual report, amplifying our global advocacy efforts. Collaborating closely with our seven-member Advocacy and Communications Team, you’ll ensure our messaging resonates with audiences and inspires meaningful action.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Social Media & Content Creation: Craft impactful content for PUSH Campaign social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube), driving community engagement and promoting our initiatives.
- Newsletter Management: Develop and curate content for the bi-monthly PUSH newsletter, ensuring timely delivery and effective audience engagement.
- Graphic Design & Visual Storytelling: Collaborate with our designer to produce visually compelling assets that enhance our campaigns and communications.
- Event Presence: Support the strategic planning and execution of our campaigning presence at global events, showcasing our mission and engaging stakeholders.
- Preparing the Annual Report: Supported by colleagues, you will document and communicate the impact of our work through ICM’s Annual Report.

What You’ll Bring
- Education & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, gender studies, global public health, or related fields. We encourage recent graduates to apply.
- Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in digital communications, with proficiency in social media management and website content. This can include volunteer positions and work-placements conducted during your studies.
- Passion and Motivation: Commitment to ICM’s mission and values, with a creative approach to storytelling and advocacy, and above all motivation to learn and take initiative. At ICM we learn by doing.
- Bonus: Experience in graphic design, familiarity with WordPress or similar platforms, and proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French).
- Location: Candidates must be based in the Netherlands and have the eligibility to work.
